Alicia’s boat gets stuck in the ice as she takes some sick and hurt penguins to the Snowy Rescue Center. Diego and Baby Jaguar set out to help Alicia, but they’ll need the help of their friends since the Rainforest is far away from the Snowy Coast.
Cotton-top Tamarin Cave Rescue
Diego has a surprise for the lonely cotton-top tamarin singing in a cave. Alicia and Baby Jaguar have been planting lots of trees for the Tamarins so they can move back to the forest. When the Bobos accidentally block the cave’s entrance, Diego sets out to find another way out of the cave so he can reunite all the tamarins.
Bengal Tiger Makes a Wish
Diego is in India helping animals after a big rainstorm when he meets Benji the Bengal Tiger. His mother had told him that if he ever got lost, she would wait for him at the Wishing Tree, but he doesn’t know how to get there! Diego sets out to the Wishing Tree and along the way helps many animal friends who have wishes.
Diego Saves Baby Humpback Whale
A baby humpback whale is beached on a rocky island and can’t get back into the ocean! Diego sets off to save the humpback whale, running through a rainforest obstacle course and swimming with Tuga the Leatherback Sea Turtle past jellyfish and sharks. When Diego reaches the baby humpback whale, he leads the other humpback whales in making big waves to lift the beached humpback whale into the ocean and back to her mommy.
Jorge the Little Hawk Learns to Migrate
It’s getting really cold and Jorge the Hawk is ready to migrate to the Warm Forest. Diego must help build a bird place to help Jorge fly home. On this sky-high adventure,Diego and Jorge catch a ride on the warm windy wind, fly through the foggy fog, avoid a lightning storm, and finally make it all the way to the Warm Forest.
Egyptian Camel Adventure
Diego visits his friend Medina in Egypt to learn all about camels when they realize the river in Medina’s town is drying out. They must find a way to fill it up again for the camels and other desert animals to have enough water to drink. They learn of the legend of the golden cloud, which can bring water back to the river, and head out to find it.

I will totally admit I like dora a bit better then diego, but what I love about diego is that he does teach my son about animals. Over all the episodes on this disc feature 3/4 different areas of the world and with that comes a good selection of animals. Clearly it’ll be entertaining for your child to watch and plus with 146 minutes of run time you might want to pickup a chapter of a book if they really just get into it. I say 45 minutes tops before you have a little one tugging at your leg.

Disney’s Emmy Award-winning Imagination Movers are in the middle of their “In a Big Warehouse” concert tour which started February 4, 2011 in their home state of Louisiana. Hopefully by now you’ve seen a few of the dadarocks tweets or a few of the dadarocks facebook page updates, but if not you might have missed the news about Late Night Parents. Really Late Night Parents was born from the desire for a parenting show that could be hosted at night for when those that have 9-5s could catch up or simply have the kids fast asleep to enjoy hearing the latest in parenting news and products.
I asked my good internet friend Josh Becker of DadStreet.com to take the 2nd seat and away it went… fast forward 9 weeks, we’ve had our glitches but more then that we’ve found great success and a real audience (I was worried there would be crickets). The best part is that if you’re not watching it live there is great content in watching the show in replay. The replays are up on iTunes, Vimeo, Blip, Boxee, Roku, and MomTV (along with a few others).
The show is geared for expecting parents, new parents, parents of toddlers, and parents of little kids/tweens. Disney’s 50th full-length animated feature film, Tangled is a visually appealing, music-filled adventure full of romance and humor. The movie focuses on Rapunzel, this latest retelling begins with a tiny piece of sunlight falling to earth and a magical golden flower sprouting where it lands. The flower, and its ability to restore youth, is discovered, used and kept secret by Mother Gothel. When the kingdom’s beloved queen falls ill, a search for the flower (apparently its existence wasn’t *completely* secret) is successfully undertaken and the healing potion brewed from it restores the queen’s health. The flower’s magical abilities are also transferred to the hair of the queen’s unborn child, Rapunzel. When Mother Gothel discovers this and learns that the magical properties are only retained as long as the hair remains uncut, she kidnaps Rapunzel and raises her as her own child. Claiming that she wants to keep Rapunzel safe from a frightening world full of danger and thugs, Mother Gothel locks her away in a remote tower. While her hair (almost a character in and of itself) grows longer and longer, Rapunzel blossoms into a surprisingly well-adjusted young woman and gifted artist who longs to see the world – particularly the mysterious lights that appear in the night sky each year on her birthday.
Enter our amusing narrator, Flynn Rider, a roguish thief who has just stolen a tiara and is on the run from palace guards when he comes across Rapunzel’s tower and takes refuge there. The very competent Rapunzel restrains Flynn, hides the tiara and strikes a bargain with him – she will return the tiara to him if he will agree to take her to see those mysterious lights, which he tells her are floating lanterns. Flynn agrees and the two set off on a rollicking adventure. Pursued now, not only by Maximus – a horse from the palace guard who refuses to give up the chase – but also by a pair of thugs Flynn double-crossed AND Mother Gothel, Flynn and Rapunzel learn to trust each other as they make one narrow escape from their pursuers after another.
This movie is a new age of Disney were the princess isnt helpless she’s actually got a ton of spunk and if very independent. As with all Disney moves there is a double edge to the humor which makes it totally enjoyable for an adult to watch along too. Adding to this great package is 3D and this movie certainly is better for it. The 3D animation is awesome.
