Like anyone born in the 1980s we grew up loving star wars and of course what we loved when we were children, some how becomes what our children love. Kids Creative is an award-winning nonprofit organization that offers arts based, peace education programs for Pre-K to High School age students through after school programs, workshops and summer camps. They teach kids they rock! At summer camp, kids write their own original plays, write their own music and gain the confidence to perform their creations in front of peers and family at the end of the week.
Kids Creative‘s Summer Day Camp runs from July 6th to August 14th. Kids can join the camp for 2, 4 or 6 weeks. Summer Camp is located at the Ideal School which is located at 314 West 91st Street, at Riverside Drive. Days run from 9am-4:30pm. Parents can do early drop off at 8am. They offer early pick up at 3pm and late pick up for parents who need to work at 6pm. The camper to staff ratio is 5:1 except for the Activists, the Middle School group which has a ratio of 10:1. Swim and music lessons are also available.The camp size is 100-120 campers. Lunch is provided by the NYC Summer Lunch Program. They also take many field trips. Past field trips have included The Bronx Zoo, The American Museum of Natural HIstory, Broadway costume designers, theaters and a trip to see a DirtySock Funtime Band concert. They also welcome visitors during camp and parent escorts on trips. Skylanders SuperChargers is set to feature twenty vehicles total across three categories (land, sea, and air), as well as twenty new SuperChargers, Skylanders who can interact with the vehicles in a special way. While any Skylanders character can drive the new vehicles, each SuperCharger pairs with a specific vehicle, and when both are on the portal together it triggers special bonuses, giving the character and the vehicle extra power.

For about a year one night a week I’d stay up review some current events and bounce ideas off my cohost over the phone. The next night we’d setup some webcams and video chat using skype (along with a skype recording software). That recording was then edited up and uploaded to vimeo… the results were great – we had thousands attend a live stream, those videos were replayed thousands of time. Here are some brief tips…

I love to laugh… growing up in NYC on the weekends I would grab friends and head to Dangerfeld’s comedy club. Over the years of going to see the shows I was lucky enough to catch Rodney at one of the shows. He signed napkins for each of us, ragged on the comedians, and commented how he owned this joint and gets no respect.

Louis CK – Live at the Beacon Theater — Louis talks a lot about his life as a dad and just people in general. This set is amazing and will have you laughing your sides off.
Bill Burr – I’m Sorry you feel that way — I heard Bill first on the Opie & Anthony Radio show… and since then I’ve been a fan. This set is really funny goes into pop culture which had me in tears.
Chris D’Elia – Incorrigible — You’ve most likely seen Chris on one of the 40 million ads for his great show in NBC undateable. In this set he talks about how much fun the NFL could be with real animals… I had to pause the special to catch my breathe and refill my drink.
Iliza Shlesinger – Freezing Hot — Funny women in comedy is becoming common place (I think a lot in part to Tina Fey). Iliza does a great set about hashtags and a common problem of always being cold.
Aziz Ansari – Live at Madison Square Garden — Aziz could be one of the smartest comedians out there… This special is a little briany at times but still worth 58 minutes of your life.
Any driver knows that in today’s tech-oriented world, it can be tricky to balance the flow of everyday cell phone usage with distraction-free driving. For the 2016 model year, Chevrolet will offer Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility in 14 different models, more than any other auto brand on the market. The technology will allow drivers to display select pre-approved iPhone/Android apps (Maps, Music, Messages, Phone, and more) on their cars’ dashboard display screen via an included MyLink wire that plugs directly into the device. Once connected (which literally only involves plugging your phone in– no extra app needed!) the apps will appear in large form on the display screen, where the driver can select the one he or she wants, and utilize either a large print (for easy visibility) or entirely hands-free version of the app.
