We love GameStop… We shop there pretty regularly, well till the point where the staff knows our name. When GameStop asked to sponsor a post about holiday gifts from GameStop – I was like absolutely.
Lets start with the items that Marc found while shopping at GameStop.
My Daughter Harper – Loves the princess gear at GameStop so while she doesnt play the video games she does love their toys. She picked up a Princess Peach amiibo figure and it’ll just be good for her imagination play. She found a Funko Pop from Disney’s Beauty & the Beast Belle and quickly added that to her cart. She also picked up a new cup with Belle the Princess on it as well.
My youngest Daughter Harlow – is only 1 and a half, so she heads to the stuffed animals and finds the largest pikachu stuffed animal she can hold. She nuzzles with that for a minute walks it over to Harper’s cart and drops it in before making seeing the Princess Zelda plush and doesnt let that go… not even to head to the check out.
Here are some of the amazing video games – I picked up for Marc for his Nintendo 3DS…
Marc is a superfan of Skylanders Imaginators, but didnt have the Dark starter pack so we got that for him. Now go brings his skylanders where ever he goes…
Marc is also getting into Yo-Kai Watch so picking up the new Yo-Kai Watch 2 game was pretty easy.
Then of course being a big Nintendo fan we got the newest Super Mario game… Super Mario Maker.
I also highly recommend Just Dance 2017 – its a game the whole family can play!

Kevin James plays Kevin Gable who is a newly retired police officer living in Massapequa, New York, on Long Island, who looks forward to spending time with his wife and three kids and with several other retired officers. However, he soon discovers that the trials he faces at home with his family can be as challenging as what he had faced on the job.
We got to sit with Kevin James, Erinn Hayes (who plays Kevin’s wife Donna), and producer Andy Fickman. One of the running themes of questions for Kevin was about him being a native Long Islander and what it really means to him to be able to return to Long Island and filming in Bethpage.
Followed by a set tour guided by Andy Fickman. Andy shared how Kevin Can Wait is the first scripted drama to be shooting full time on Long Island and how much work went into launching the studio.
The next episode will be airing on CBS at 8pm 11/7/16.
KEVIN CAN WAIT: Who’s Better than Us?
Kevin gets jealous when he hears how happy his former patrol partner Jimmy (Adam Sandler) is with his fit, new rookie, Nick (former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman), and sets out to …
The best superhero movie of the year, Marvel’s DOCTORSTRANGE is finally playing in theatres everywhere! This is the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a movie that must be seen on the big screen, but I highly recommend seeing it in IMAX 3D. The 3D effects are some of the best I’ve ever seen in movie.
I felt like I was on a rollercoaster ride between the effects, the movement of the camera, the action it was all incredible. The wildest ride yet for a Marvel movie. The story of Doctor Stephen Strange, the Master of the Mystic Arts, who made his first appearance in Marvel comics in 1963. A lot of the original Steve Ditko’s comic book art influenced the environments that were created for the film… which again just goes to show you how close Marvel stays to the original content.
The story follows world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange, whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place—a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange—armed with newly acquired magical powers—is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange” stars Benedict Cumberbatch (“The Imitation Game,” “Black Mass”), Chiwetel Ejiofor (“12 Years a Slave,” “Triple 9”), Rachel McAdams(“Spotlight,” “Southpaw”), Benedict Wong (“The Martian,” “Prometheus”), Michael Stuhlbarg (“A Serious Man,” “Jobs”), Benjamin Bratt (“Traffic,” “Piñero”) and Scott Adkins (“El Gringo,” “Expendables 2”), with Mads Mikkelsen (“The Hunt,” “Casino Royale”) and Academy Award® winner Tilda Swinton (“Michael Clayton,” “Julia”).
While filming in New York City, Benedict Cumberbatch, in full costume, went for an afternoon cup of tea between setups with his wife and some friends in a cafe in Greenwich Village. Even the usually nonplussed New Yorkers were surprised to have a Super Hero in their midst.

I’m one of those guys that goes shopping and buys the brands he knows… When I was asked to join Bounty for its “Memorable First Moments Birthday Bash” that involved messy art and cake smashes, it was easy to say yes.
Bounty really gets that life is sometimes a little messy and because Bounty absorbs the messes quickly (in fact, it’s 2x more absorbent vs. the leading ordinary brand), you can enjoy the moment not the mess.
I’ve always used paper towels to clean up some split milk on the floor, a messy face after eating pizza, or even those few food splatters when I attempt to cook. At the event they showed me a different side to Bounty, as we not only used it for cleaning up hand painting and cake decorating crafts, but could use it to create color paper towel flower crafts.
Because Bounty is so absorbent the roll can last 50% longer, and can take on more spills and messes, so I could enjoy a few memorable moments with the kids.
Thanks to Big City Moms for sponsoring me to take part in this event.
Mevo where have you been my entire blogging career?! I have asked this question for a few weeks now after I played with the Mevo camera. Mevo is a live streaming camera, that you can connect to your phone’s LTE or directly to a local wifi signal to stream directly to either Facebook Live or LiveStream.
Mevo is the first digital video camera to feature Facebook Live integration, giving the 1.6 billion people that use Facebook the most compelling way to leverage the power of the social platform’s new live video service. Like everything new that facebook pushes out it also takes highlights that new feature in people’s timelines. You can stream from a personal account or a page.
Now who can really use a Mevo – this will be awesome for anyone in the nonprofit space since you dont have a whole AV crew to always setup and breakdown… it takes less then a minute to setup a mevo. I would also say this is a MUST for any blogger. If you’re out there creating content and doing anything with facebook live – this is totally a must have!
I’d also recommend this for teachers/professors imagine being able to simply put a mevo on a stand give a lecture without the need for all this fancy equipment save it to a facebook page and provide the link to your students.
You can connect to your mevo via the iOS app and zoom into different points of the wide view for what is deemed a studio in an app. The app already features built in face tracking it’ll keep the focus and the zoom on that speaker (pretty cool!).
Mevo’s notable product features include:
Live Edit in HD
Live editing on the fly between 6 virtual HD cameras using an easy to use iPhone app, with simple features that include: tap to cut, pinch to zoom, and drag to pan.
Automated editing mode with smart people recognition and movement tracking.
Minimum input/maximum output: 4K Sony sensor captures high quality video, builtin microphone array and DSP provides excellent audio quality.
Effortless Sharing
Stream live in HD with quality and ease – broadcast your event live on the web and mobile via Facebook Liveor the Livestream Platform (optional subscription).
Store now, share later – includes 16GB SanDisk Micro SD card to record and store your video, plus builtin features that make it easy to share your video immediately on websites, social networks or via email.
Cloud connected, WiFi enabled to ensure high quality Internet connectivity.
Simple, Unobtrusive Design
One pocket sized camera does it all.
Stealthy enough to put right on stage with the action.
No rig required – designed to set up in seconds and get out of the way so you can stay focused on the event, not the gear.
Comes with everything you need to start your production, including a mount to attach Mevo to virtually any stand.
I’ve streamed a few press announcements and even an awesome concert by Chris Daughtry. The microphone does a great job of picking up the sound. The autofocusing on the 150 degree 2.8f 4k lens does an great job. I have been really impressed and have been recommending this camera since I’ve gotten my hands on it to all my blogging friends. But really anyone looking to do more with facebook live should have this in their toolbox. If you’re starting a vlog (video blog) or sharing cooking tips on facebook, the Mevo makes it soooo simple…. it really is a studio in a box.
