The GoGo squeeZ mobile playground is returning to New York on July 28th 2013 (Sunday) in Union Square for Pogopalooza, the Annual World Championships of Xpogo (extreme pogo).
Join the SqueeZ Squad for a fun-filled day on the playground; which includes a slide, rock climbing wall and both indoor and outdoor play areas where games range from Giant Jenga and Twister to bean bag tosses. I love Fandango… I have purchased dozens and dozens of tickets via their website over the years – its a pretty standard thing in NYC – hundreds of people try to see a movie on opening weekend and there is only room for about 140 people in any given place maybe 300 if you’re lucky… but really going to the movies in NYC is an event – you first have to buy the tickets (for me thats where Fandango comes in)… then you have to get to the movie and wait… and wait – because you want good seats right? how about the standard arrive to the movie before time is now up to an hour and change before a mega movie and just around an hour for your standard popcorn flick.
It used to be you needed to get there 2 hours early to buy your tickets then wait – thankfully Fandango solved that problem – If you havent heard of Fandango – I bet you’ve seen their commercials its the great paper bag puppets.
If you don’t like the idea of buying your tickets before you get to the show (I’m not sure why I’m writing that sentence because then you most likely don’t read blogs) but you still could use their website for great things like Showtimes, Reviews, and Trailers. Fandango is one of my most used apps.
Its great to distract a small child with the coming attractions for some kids movie about to come out – like…. Despicable Me 2!

You know dads really have a unique way of handling things. Tossing a party or an event is no different. This week I was given an opportunity by Tide & Downy to host a party.
It was held the craft studio in New York City… We had moms and dads with their children do two great craft projects along with random acts of dancing and even a game of limbo.
Of course the crafts were a little messy otherwise what’s the point of doing the laundry afterwards.

This party was also a great excuse to bring together some dear friends in the parent blogger space in New York to send off Jessica from mommasgonecity who moved back to Cali after spending years in New York. Jessica was one of the few bloggers I got to know when I started blogging. Our children are pretty close in age and over these last three years we’ve watched them grow.
I really can’t thank Tide and Downy enough for this great event. All the guests got to enjoy pizza and the little masterpieces of art the kids took home plus some great new memories.
I highly recommend looking into the craft studio for any NYC based kids event as the space is large but better yet the staff was amazing with the children.

I shot a ton of photos – I’m one of those take 400 pictures and have 4 turn out great… but I can never bring myself to trash the 396 other photos. My dad has always been there for me – I hope he knows how much he has been an influence on my life. It’s sometimes hard to say Thank You and more often than not we all take the I Love You for granted. He is a true Modern Day Dad – we see a ball game once a year – do a couple of weekend trips together with my kids (his grand kids) it works… but whenever I say I need help or I need him to be there for me he always is… Thats why there’s a lot of what I do in Fatherhood thats copied after him. Sure when I was younger and dumber I once answered a question about what type of dad do you want to be? with the answer of one that never needs to ask my child for help with technology – HA. I now know that answer – which is I want to be the dad, that my kids can always go to and for help/answers/anything!
