The end of summer is fast-approaching, so what better time to get together as a family and watch some great movies and TV on Netflix? As an added bonus, our selections this month emphasize that we should get along with others, stressing the importance of kindness and acceptance for all. That’s a message that both kids and adults could certainly learn from these days (and certainly a good one to reiterate with school right around the corner)! 1. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Vol. 1 Ep. 6: Friends Help Each Other: Continuing the revered traditions of “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood,” this animated show for preschoolers is based on the adventures of young Daniel Tiger.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Season 3, Ep. 4: One Bad Apple: Journey to the enchanted land of Equestria, where unicorn Twilight Sparkle and her pals have adventures and learn valuable lessons about friendship. 3. Arthur, Season 15, Ep. 8: Muffy’s Classic Classy Club / Best Enemies: Based on Marc Brown’s popular children’s books, this Daytime Emmy-winning animated series shadows 8-year-old aardvark Arthur Read and his animal pals. 4. The Hunchback of Notre Dame: Inspired by Victor Hugo’s novel, this Disney film follows a gentle, crippled bell ringer as he faces prejudice and tries to save the city he loves. 5. Super Why, Season 1, Ep. 61: The Ugly Duckling: Becoming a Swan: Wyatt and his pals, the Super Readers, solve problems by consulting classic stories such as Little Miss Muffet, Hansel and Gretel and more. 6.
