Ultimate Father’s Day Gift – LG 55” Cinema 3D LED Smart TV

Oh the things I do in the name of being a blogger… like the painful task of having a 55″ inch LG Cinema 3D TV for only 30 days as a review unit, but one lucky reader will get to win one of these AMAZING TVs!

You might comment like 1 in 100 movies and there are no TV shows in 3D but thats one great feature the LG 55LM7600 has is the ability to take 2D shows and make them 3D (some shows work better then others).

This is not just a TV but its a work of art… I can only wish to hang one of these sets from my wall instead of having it on the table top.  Using the wifi connection for updates to the firmware is cool but having access to netflix, youtube, and its skype-ready.

Since this was the hunt for content – I started looking at the blurays I’ve collected and never had use for since I didnt have a 3D tv till now, but really made it a breeze was the time warner on demand channels like HBO 3D on-demand.

The tip for parents is if I owned a TV like this with the glasses, I would have to pick up a container to store the glasses in out of the reach of the kids. These glasses are pretty slick looking – which also means I fear that they’ll break too but oh well… I believe you can also use the same glasses you get at the movie theater (but thats just internet rumors).

    This TV sounds amazing and considering I’m moving next month it would make a perfect addition to my first home as a single mom. That being said, as a single mom I play Mom & Dad to my son so the reason this “Dad” needs this TV is because I haven’t had a TV for the last three years. We watch Netflix, DVDs and TV online since I havent been able to afford the luxury of a TV yet. This one would be a dream come true!

    Daddy needs a new TV because his isnt even HD ready- meaning that he has to use a converter box in order to even watch TV! It seems everything else comes first- you know stuff like food, car maintenance and he has been waiting patiently for a very long time.     His children are always watching Nicolodean & Disney Channel(after doing their homework) and Daddy has to watch TV on his small laptop with no 3D. (Yeah I am a sucker for my kids and your kid’s wants and needs always come first – every Dad wants their kids to have the best!) Sports and movies just are not the same. Daddy needs a new TV(or his old one) for his bedroom or basement or wherever he is sent so he and his kids can both be happy and family movie night will be like going to the movies in full 3D! (minus the sticky floors) 🙂

    The daddy in my house (my husband) desperately needs his own tv. He has a very stressful job, which has caused high blood pressure 🙁 his own tv would allow him some time to unwind and relax. The tv we have now has been taken over by the kids. My husband goes to bed early so he never gets to watch tv.     I need a new TV so that my Wife, Boys and I can put away the old box tube TV that we use to watch all those fantastic shows like Wow Wow, Diego, Cat in the Hat, Caillou, etc. Makes for good cuddle time. Always wanted to buy a newer one but always find things such as bikes, scooters, balls, and such to spend money on instead.     dada needs a new tv- ours is old- lets put it this way- weighs a ton and need a box to have anything from 2000 and up hooked up to it- would be so nice to have the capability to see 3d at home without crowds, or breaking necks in theatre seats or having to actually go out.

    Daddy needs THIS fabulous LED 54.6 in 3D tv so we can watch action movies with the family & experience them on a whole new level! Watching movies is our main source of entertainment & I can’t even imagine owning something so amazing! A built in camera so we can Skype with family & friends (we do weekly) is huge and the built in wifi (we do daily) would be awesome to have not to mention the 4 HDMI ports, and love the swivel feature too!

    Daddy needs a new tv to replace his 1991 big tube tv that belongs in a museum. My dad has worked as a factory worker for the past 20 years, so humble, kind, thinking of others always before himself, and giving back to the community be it through church services or being a volunteer firefighter. I’d love nothing more than to surprise him with this set on father’s day and give him an enjoyable experience every time he watches tv from now on instead of having to watch his shows on this clunky big tv that has a shrinking picture, gives off tons of heat, and is a power hogger.
