Wild Kratts LIVE 2.0 – Activate Creature Power!,the theatrical production starring Martin and Chris Kratt, based on the Emmy-nominated hit PBS KIDS series, will bring audiences along on a “wild” ride with a dynamic mix of live-action and animation. In Wild Kratts LIVE 2.0, Chris and Martin take to the stage to activate new Creature Powers and go “off to the creature rescue!” With some help from Aviva and the rest of the Wild Kratts team, who will be animated and on screen at the Tortuga HQ, the brothers confront a comic villain and once again save the day, sharing fascinating tidbits about some of the world’s most amazing creatures along the way.
Audience members are encouraged to bring along their animal knowledge and participate in the action right from their seats by calling out answers to the questions posed by the Kratt Brothers during the show.
Since their original Wild Kratts LIVE! touring show launched in 2014, Chris and Martin have performed to wildly-enthusiastic crowds of hundreds of thousands of fans – many of them sporting their own Creature Power Suits, just like the Kratt Brothers do in the popular series – in more than 135 cities across North America.
WILD KRATTS LIVE! is an all new theatrical stage show based on the hit animated television series Wild Kratts. Martin and Chris Kratt, stars of the Emmy-nominated Wild Kratts step out LIVE ON STAGE to engage the audience in a classic Wild Kratts story.
The live action begins with them pulling on their Creature Power vests and gloves begin activating Creature Powers! The duo shows off the amazing abilities of animals such as Rhino Powers and Caracal Powers with live comical demonstrations.
Suddenly, the Wild Kratts receive a message from their friends Koki, Jimmy and Aviva that Zach and his Zachbots are invading the Tortuga HQ. This villain steals one of the Wild Kratts favorite inventions. The brothers have got to get it back. Now with their amazing animal abilities they are off to confront the bumbling and comical villain, Zach, and his robots. Of course, the Kratt Brothers technology doesn’t always work as planned which results in hilarious pratfalls and slapstick fun. But the brothers press on and ultimately rescue their favorite invention from Zach’s clutches so the animals of the creature world are safe once again.

PBS KIDS and Sesame Street premiered Cookie Monster’s very first special “The Cookie Thief” on February 16. A cookie art museum has just opened on Sesame Street, but art suddenly disappears and Cookie Monster quickly becomes a suspect! Cookie Monster’s special is a nail-biting, cookie-munching thriller with guest stars including Rachel Dratch of Saturday Night Live fame.
PBS KIDS also announced NATURE CAT, a brand new series that will premiere this fall. NATURE CAT follows Fred, a house cat who dreams of exploring the great outdoors. In each episode, once his family leaves for the day, Fred transforms into Nature Cat, “backyard explorer extraordinaire.” NATURE CAT was created by brothers David Rudman (Cookie Monster on SESAME STREET, The Muppets) and Adam Rudman (Tom & Jerry, SESAME STREET, CYBERCHASE).

Designed for kids ages 3-8, the multiplatform media property will encourage families to get active and go on their own outdoor adventures. The ninth season of Curious George, the PBS KIDS hit series, continues with a new episode full of love and curiosity on Monday, February 9, 2015. In “Happy Valentine’s Day, George,” Curious George wants to make his friends the best Valentine’s Day card ever, but even with four paws, it takes a long time to create homemade cards for everyone. Using sponge shapes, red paint, and a waffle iron, George creates the first ever monkey Valentine’s printing press!
“George is a little monkey with a big heart,” says executive producer Dorothea Gillim. “Between George’s monkey antics and a catchy song, this episode is our Valentine to all our loyal viewers.”
This season continues to focus on teaching preschoolers about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts, as well as use of the five senses (smell, taste, hearing, touch, and sight). The curious monkey’s adventures go in “Oh Deer.”When a hungry deer keeps nibbling on the flowers in George and Allie’s garden, George uses all of his five senses to keep the deer out. A scarecrow, loud noises, sticky tape, and stinky rotten eggs don’t work, leaving George with one last sense: taste! Will George’s recipe keep the deer away or make them hungry for more? Curious George airs weekdays on PBS KIDS (check local listings).
