J.J. Abrams will direct Star Wars: Episode VII, the first of a new series of Star Wars films to come from Lucasfilm under the leadership of Kathleen Kennedy. Abrams will be directing and Academy Award-winning writer Michael Arndt will write the screenplay.

A few days ago, I took my family to a screening of The Muppets, thanks to Moms And The City. Disney Studios now controls the property it was excellent to see my childhood favorites on the big screen again – as you know its been a few years since they last were on the big screen. This isnt a remake, its actually a bit sad if you grew up watching the gang. It shows them 20 years later and most of the world having forgot them. When I heard that Disney was making another Tron I thought kick ass… then I saw the toys and I thought kick ass… then I remember I have a baby/toddler/animal who cant sit still for 2 hours and almost never get to see movies in the movie theatres.
